Privacy Policy

Summary

Doloc Town Wiki is a static, fan-run reference site. We don't run first-party analytics, we don't have user accounts, and we don't collect personal information from you. The only data collected on this site is collected by our third-party ad partners (Google AdSense and Adsterra) when ads load. This page explains exactly what those partners do, what they collect, and how to opt out.

Information we collect

None directly. Doloc Town Wiki does not maintain any user database, does not require login, does not run our own analytics, and does not place our own cookies. We do not know who you are, where you are from, or what you do on the site beyond what our hosting provider's raw server logs record (and those are not tied to individuals).

Our hosting provider (Vercel / Cloudflare for DNS) records basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for abuse prevention and rate limiting. These logs are retained per the provider's standard data retention policy and are not used for advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

The wiki itself does not set any cookies. The ad partners we work with (see below) may set cookies, web beacons, or use local storage to recognize your browser, remember preferences, measure ad performance, and personalize or contextualize ads. These are third-party cookies — they are not set or read by doloctowndb.com.

You can disable third-party cookies in your browser at any time. Doing so may cause ads to be less relevant or to fail to load. See the partner-specific opt-out links in the next section.

Third-party advertising partners

Two ad partners serve ads on this site:

EU/UK users (GDPR, ePrivacy)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the ad partners we work with may require your consent before setting cookies or processing personal data for advertising purposes. Our current ad serving does not present a consent management platform (CMP) banner because:

• We do not run our own analytics or advertising cookies
• Both Google AdSense and Adsterra have their own consent handling and policy that requires advertisers to obtain user consent in the EEA/UK
• You can use browser-level controls, ad-blockers, or the partner opt-out links above to control or block third-party cookies

Children's privacy (COPPA)

This site is a reference for a video game. Doloc Town is rated E10+ (Everyone 10+) by ESRB. We do not knowingly direct advertising at children under 13. Doloc Town Wiki does not collect personal information from any visitor, and we have configured our ad partners' interest-based advertising settings to comply with COPPA where applicable.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to an ad partner through this site, please contact the relevant ad partner directly (Google: AdSense support; Adsterra: their privacy policy).

California users (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because Doloc Town Wiki does not collect personal information directly, most CCPA rights apply to our ad partners:

• Google: Submit a request via Google Accounts Help or use the Ads Settings page to limit personalized ads.
• Adsterra: See their privacy policy for California-specific rights and opt-out instructions.

Doloc Town Wiki does not sell personal information because we do not collect it.

Data retention

Because we do not maintain a user database, there is nothing to retain on our side. Third-party ad partners retain data per their own retention policies (linked above). Host logs are retained per the hosting provider's standard policy and are not used for advertising.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post a short notice in the News section. Continued use of the site after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
